We are the Dilley family and we have been owners since July 2018.

Buck and Dumb Bass Outdoors is your family-owned local bait shop and more.

Our goal is to keep the business a family friendly mom & pop shop while becoming your one stop shop for all your fishing, boating, camping and family weekend adventure needs.

We have a small diner attached to the bait shop offering feel good food such as our number one seller, PIZZA, which many locals can’t get enough of. We also offer burgers, wings, tenderloins and my favorite crappy nibblers. You can see our menu and order online at BuckAndDumbBassToGo.com. Sorry we DO NOT have delivery at this time.

In April of 2022 we will be operating the marina at Lieber State Park. We will offer pontoon rentals, gas, live bait, ice, drinks, and all the essentials for boaters. Our goal is for the boaters and fishermen to not have to get off of the water for their boating and fishing needs.

The store has been serving Putnam County, the fisherman, fisherwomen, boaters of Cataract Lake (Cagle Mills Reservoir), and all the campers from local campgrounds since 2015.

The building has been on this corner of State Road 243 since the 1950’s and has been many different businesses. We hear stories about the old Chat and Chew. The building was a gas station at one point, a small bait shop years and years ago, a pizzeria and office building.
